The Citycare team has been giving up their Saturday mornings to carry out litter picks in and around health centres, we manage in Hull.
So far, the team has completed litter picks at the Orchard Centre, Marfleet Health Centre and Elliott Chappell Health Centre as part of the #LoveHullHateLitter Initiative.
Sophie Lee, Assistant Development Manager said:
“I’ve really enjoyed the litter picks so far with the team.
“By simply giving up a couple of hours of our Saturday mornings, we can tidy up an area and it’s a real sense of achievement. It’s also great to spend time with our newer team members.
On the latest litter pick, the Citycare team was joined by supply chain partner Sewell Facilities Management.
Chief Executive Officer Tim Wigglesworth said:
“Anyone is welcome to join us and lend a helping hand. Please get in touch if you’d like to take part and we can arrange the necessary equipment.
“Our next clean up may be on hold due to the latest Covid restrictions, but as soon as we’re able to, we’ll be back out with our grabbers and bags, tidying the streets.”
