Refurbishment work has been completed at a specialist healthcare facility, improving the existing estate to free up clinical and office space for patients and staff.
The £750,000 project at Townend Court in Hull’s Cottingham Road includes refurbishing a ward and an office space.
The office area had not been used recently and was identified as an area for improvement to bring staff together in one place in a suitable environment, making best use of the Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust estate.
Citycare provided project management services for the scheme, which began in July 2020.
Jonathan Ramsey, Consultant at Citycare, said: “The ward was closed while the main refurbishment work took place and included a small extension. It will now allow men and women to be treated on the same ward.
